On September 18, Sue Redford became the largest mother in the UK – she gave birth to her son Archie.
According to Mrs. Redford, the baby was very desirable and long-awaited, because she and her husband agreed that they needed 20 children to be completely happy.
In total, the Redford family now has 11 boys and 9 girls.
Sue told The Sun reporters that she no longer plans to expand the family, and her husband Noel supports her.
However, the man immediately warned his wife that he would not agree to another vasectomy. A few years ago, he decided to have the procedure. However, later, at the request of his wife, he had to undergo a second operation in order to restore all childbearing functions.
“I am glad that our son is healthy. It is strange to realize that I will not have any more children. Our daughter Chloe even told me that she believes we decided to stay with Archie. It had to end sometime,” Sue told the press.
Sue and Noel grew up in an orphanage, where they met. At the age of 14, an Englishwoman became a mother for the first time, but she and her lover decided not to give the baby up for adoption and started a family. Since then, she has given birth to 19 more children.
Sue admits that she remembers all the important dates perfectly, but Noel sometimes even forgets the birthdays of her sons and daughters.
